Description
GORHAM NEOCLASSICAL-STYLE STERLING SILVER COVERED URN, semi-ovoid well with bas-relief decoration including floral garlands, rosettes, shells, and foliate motifs, two applied drop-ring handles with reed-and-tie design, one side with engraved "RAH" monogram, topped by a conical cover with foliate finial and accents, raised on a round foot with reed-and-tie border. Base marked with the three Gorham pseudo hallmarks above "STERLING / A11417 / 3 3/4 PINT". Total weight: 42.18 ozt. Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI. Early 20th century. 13 1/2" HOA, 6" D rim.

Condition
Very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks, a few minute dents, one more moderate dent to side of well, cover with a moderate dent to flange and a moderate scratch to top, one handle with securing pin coming slightly out at one end but it is secure.
