An original, colored wood engraving from Gleason’s Pictorial Drawing Room Companion titled Steamship Golden Age, of the New York and Australian Steamship Company’s Line. It was printed in one of the 1854 editions. This is an original, 1 page woodcut engraving depicting a steam powered ship. The hand coloring was added later. It is matted and framed under glass in a golden frame. It measures 15 inches x 18 inches. This piece was acquired from a Washington, DC estate., 15 inches x 18 inches, LOT REF #23-447
