Description
(1896-1941) Second-highest scoring German flying ace of World War I. He was one of the youngest aces and was the highest scoring German ace to survive the war. His 62 confirmed victories were second only to Manfred von Richthofen. S.P. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. b/w, a Ross Verlag postcard showing Udet in front of his Curtiss Goshawk biplane. Signed boldly with black ink. Pencil notation on the verso gives a brief biography of Udet. Some mounting remnants on the verso, else fine
