Heat stamped on the interior ‘Q62’, indicating this example is a Heer helmet from Quist and a size ‘62’, further marked with a heat stamped lot number of ‘12662’. This swivel bale helmet bears a brown leather liner with steel headband. The fingers have broken off, but the remaining leather is supple. No chinstrap. The exterior paint displays wear, mostly at the crown. A good honest example.
