Item Details
Description
German tropical pith helmet, pale green wool felt covering with the original side insignia of national eagle and colors. The chin strap is intact, pulled above the brim. The inside has a fine leather sweatband with manufacturer's initials 'JHS' for Johann Huckel´s Sohne. The inside of the sweatband is stamped with the the size, '54' and the date, '1942'. Brim is slightly worn, else very good.
