Description
An interesting dossier of four pieces related to the arrest and eventual execution of Drahomir Vomacka, accused of being a leader in the Czech liberation movement, the Order of the White Lion. Includes: a typed D.S. 1p. legal folio, Brno, Jan. 11, 1947, in Czech stating that Vomacka was accused of being a ‘…co-founder and one of the leaders in the illegal organization Nemo…and a second illegal [organization] The White Lion in Ostravia…sentenced to death for high treason and executed on October 12, 1932 in Bratislava…the son of Karel and Terezia Vomacka…’. WITH: a typed D.S. 1p. legal folio, Brno, Jan. 15, 1947, in German indicating the trajectory of events that led to Vomacka’s execution. WITH: a third typed document 1p. legal folio, Brno, June 20, 1947, a death certificate for Vomacka. Also present is a war-date typed document, 1p. legal folio, ‘Parish Office in Foholelich’, Dec. 12, 1945, Drahomir’s Catholic baptism certificate mentioning his mother and father. Four pieces, very good. Worthy of further research!
