Charles Huguenin & Son, Locle, Switzerland, a gold minute repeating chronograph pocket watch, stem wind and lever set nickel plate movement with lever escapement in a heavy, 18 karat, yellow gold, engine turned hunting case with reeded edge bezel, gold cuvette engraved with maker's signature and serial number, roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and whip hands, serial #3973, 53mm, 148g TW
Condition
CASE: Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Engine turning with significant wear; Bow slightly warped and with steel exposed on the upper portion of the inner rim; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: One hairline in enamel from seconds bit to 3:00 and a small scratch between center arbor and 3:00. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine marks and scratches on plate; Specks of dirt and debris. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). COMPLICATIONS: Functioning correctly, circa 1890
