Description
Group of railroad dining card menus for the Union Pacific and Southern Pacific. Union Pacific menus include a lunch menu with Columbine flower of Travel Comfort cover with information about the flower, Colorado, and Colorado Rockies on the back, showing wear to the interior crease and minor discoloration in the middle of the crease. A dinner menu dated January 1925 with framed Palms, Orange Groves and Snowy Mountains graphic and Southern California information on the back showing general wear along the edges, writing marks at the top right corner, and minor bends at the corners. A lunch menu dated September 1935 with similar front cover graphic showing edge wear, a crease along the middle left side, worn upper left corner, and pin hole in the middle of the center crease. Southern Pacific menus include a 1954 Golden State luncheon menu showing minor edge wear, discoloration from age, staple holes at the top of the cover, and stain marks to the right of the logo. A 1949 special breakfast menu with California poppies cover for American Bankers Association Red Special Tour to the 75th Annual Convention San Francisco, California October 10 - November 2, 1949, showing mild edge wear and some light discoloration on the back. 1967 Coffee Shop dinner menu showing staple holes at the top left, general discoloration from age and storage on both sides.
