Description
A group of four railroad dining car menus. Illinois Central menus include a 1920s The Floridan menu for breakfast, beverages, cigars, and cigarettes, with brown cardstock cover and twisted string binding and IC system information on the first page. Both covers are separated from the interior menu, shows moderate edge and corner wear and tear, and the back cover is partially attached to a piece of paper that it was glued to. The interior pages are in good condition. A 1970 Panama Limited dinner menu showing general discoloration along the edges from handling or age, minor corner wear, and pencil marks at the top right of the second page. A souvenir supper menu for Mobile and Ohio Railroad with cover graphic of dining passengers with green border. The cover shows mild edge wear and discoloration spots with moderate water spots on the back. The interior shows discoloration, pencil marks at the top right, skinning across the bottom of the menu on both sides, and a 1/2" tear in the center crease at the bottom. A dinner menu for Gulf, Mobile & Ohio with Hawthorn Missouri State Flower graphic at the top and information about the Gulf Mobile and Ohio on the back. The menu shows corner wear/creases, discoloration along the edges, staining at the top, writing marks, and the day May 21-54 at the bottom. See photos for best description.
