World War One yard long photograph of Company F, 309th Engineers. Image by Hughes & Estabrook 251 W. 42 St., N.Y. All of the enlisted men are armed with rifles, bayonets and wear cartridge belts. A dog – (mascot) sits between the feet of the company Captain in the first row. The dog is wearing a regulation military “dog tag” on his collar. 84th Division "railsplitter" patches are visible on some of the tunics. The photo is housed in the original 32.5" x 11.5 frame. The original cardboard backing bears a crayon notation on the back, "Company F 309th Regiment Engineers France 1918". In-house shipping is available.
