How peacefully the quiet streamlet glides, Yet ripples gently on the shelving sides, Or slumbers where the sunbeam never glows, Beneath the cottage walls in calm repose.â€™, with a stamp for â€˜London Stereoscopic Companyâ€™ Condition: card good and clean slight finger marks Note: These 1850's views are of the village of Hinton Waldrist in Oxfordshire and are considered to be Williams's masterpiece. They were the subject of the book 'A Village Lost and Found', by Brian May & Elena Vidal, published 2009.
