Provenance
Comprising a cup with flared rim on footed base, with scrolled handle, the body decorated with engraved scene depicting dogs and sheep beneath trees with birds aloft, surrounding cartouche engraved, “A.T. from T.M.M.,” also with applied band of motifs including scythes, sheaths of wheat, rakes and plows, wagons, windmills, beehives, and houses, marked to underside; and a child's cann, of baluster form, on footed base, with scrolled handle, engraved to front, “Charlotte Rose Irwin April 26th 1839,” marked.
