Description
1 printed tea dress in floral, foliate & undulating band motif w/ burnt sienna silk twill band collar, CF panel, cuff & hem, back bodice w/ graduated pleats into princess line train, early 1880s, B 40”, W 32”, L 58”, (few holes & stains up to 1.5", lace cuffs removed, bow detached) excellent; 1 robin’s egg wool twill morning dress w/ silk embroidery in wheat & floral motif w/ applied cord stalk, velvet covered buttons, twill cotton balloon sleeve w/ Spanish lace over SH to deep V at CB & cuff w/ French black velvet ribbon, cotton twill lining, mid 1890s, B 30”, W 24”, L 54”, (wear, 1” hole left underarm, small snacks/holes, stains up to 1.5”, few missing buttons) very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
