Ming Dynasty, finely cast bronze gilded statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva[Specifications] Height 30cm, width 18.8cm, weight 3.85kg[Details]Manjusri Bodhisattva is one of the four great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism (Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva). This statue wears a crown, necklaces, tassels, and bracelets, with both hands on the chest holding the wheel-turning seal, lotus flowers blooming on both shoulders, and the lotus flowers hold magic weapons, one is a scripture, the other is a sword, which is a distinctive feature of Manjusri Bodhisattva. The feet are sitting cross-legged on the lotus platform. The Buddha statue has precise proportions, deep casting, gilded all over, shiny and natural, with great artistic and collection value.
