Moise Kisling, French, Polish, 1891 to 1953, black and white lithograph on paper, Sonya Portrait of Dennys le Bec, 1927. Inscribed and dated in pencil, lower left. Framed. Moise Kisling is known for Child figure, nudes and portrait painting. He was well known for his association with the famous artists of the School of Paris in the early 20th Century. Moise Kisling moved to Paris in 1910 at the age of 19, and became a French citizen in 1915, after serving and being wounded with the French Foreign Legion in World War I. He emigrated to the United States in 1940, after the fall of France, and returned there in 1946. Vintage and Modern European Graphic Art Prints And Collectibles.
