Description
A Roman glass feeding bottle, 1st - 3rd century A.D.Vial made of transparent glass with an asymmetrical body that is extended on one side to form a long cone-shaped spout with a tiny opening. Above this is a cylindrical neck with a wide, horizontally projecting edge lip. Surface iridescent with light incrustations. Two small sherds were broken off the flat base and glued back in place without any missing parts. Height 9.8 cm. Width 14 cm.Provenance: South German private collection, taken over from the collection of his grandfather who died 30 years ago.Condition: II
