Description
A pair of South German lamp bases made from Baroque processional poles (2nd half of the 17th century), 19th centuryHolz, polychrom gefasst und vergoldet. Runder, reich gegliederter Schaft mit balusterabgesetzter Akanthusbasis und beflügelten Puttoköpfchen über dem geschweiften Nodus. Im 19. Jhdt. mit rundem Sockel sowie Glühbirnenaufsatz versehen und elektrifiziert worden. Die Schäfte etwas wurmstichig, stellenweise erneuerte Fassung und Schwundrisse bzw. kleine Fehlstellen. Höhe ca. 68 cm.Condition: II - III
