A pair of Wedgwood jasper dip 'Trafalgar' vases, circa 1905
Made to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Trafalgar, of classical form with twin Egyptian head handles, hung with trophies of war applied in high relief on the pale blue ground, a portrait of Nelson suspended from the laurel border by a ribbon, a figure of winged Victory inscribing a shield to the reverse, the dates '1805' and '1905' applied to either side of the necks, 25.8cm high, impressed WEDGWOOD, one also impressed ENGLAND (2)

Condition
Both vases are in overall good condition. There are a few entirely typical fine and short cracks visible in the relief decoration, such as to the figure of Victory's elbow, having occurred during firing and of no significance.
