Description
Early 19th century, Wedgwood (English, founded 1759); fine jasperware stoneware; including a pair of dark blue oenochoe jugs with applied classical detail, 1875; blue krater vase or urn on pedestal with applied ram's head and garland detail, 1812-1822; together with a tricolor dark blue ground, yellow lattice and white scrollwork syrup jug, circa 1880. Approx. height of the jugs 9.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Anital, Riverdale, New York.
Condition
Two areas of loss to the lattice work on the syrup jug. Urn loose on body. Various stable hairlines to urn and both oenochoe jugs. Dirt and grime to all pieces--would benefit from cleaning.
