The oval plaque moulded in relief with a named portrait of Nelson standing before naval trophies, carefully picked out in colours, self-framed with a beaded border washed in yellow, pierced for suspension, 10cm high, the bird feeder modelled as a half-length bust of Napoleon Bonaparte, his cheeks flushed with ochre, 12.2cm high (2)

Condition
There is a restored horizontal crack running through the middle of the plaque, just visible crossing Nelson's chest. There is some associated restoration to the right hand side of the plaque affecting a small section of the yellow border and also a short restored crack at around 4 o'clock at the edge of the border. There are some shallow chips to the beaded border. The plaque has been coated in a thin clear lacquer making it difficult to ascertain the extent of any further damages. Regardless, the plaque does in fact present well.
The pipe is in good condition, save for a handful of very small and minor flakes to the glaze, which otherwise remains glossy and smooth. There is a crack running around the join of the feeder to the back of Napoleon's torso, which may be an extended firing crack. This does not not appear to be a break or to have any attempt at restoration.
