Antique black lacquer wooden rectangular form tea storage box with hinged lid. Decorated with a gilt painted design featuring birds, trees, pagoda style structures and fluttering insects, all throughout. Interior with two (2) fitted pewter lidded boxes with floral etched designs to the caps and the tops. Raised atop 4 wooden feet. There is no key. No apparent markings.

Condition: Good to fair overall condition having normal surface wear. Crack lines and losses to the wood as well as the paint seen all over, inside and out and the underside. Both the metal inserts with dents and losses / holes. Please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
