A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SAUCE TUREENS AND COVERS
maker W.E, London 1818, of rounded rectangular form, with gadrooned rims and lion-mask capped twin reeded handles, raised on conforming reel moulded feet, together with a pair of William IV silver sauce ladles, by William Eaton, London 1835, Fiddle pattern, each engraved with a monogram. (4) 14.5cm high, 21cm long across handles, 12.5cm wide, 51 troy ounces gross
The marks are clear. The lids fit well. The tureens stand firmly and do not wobble. No engraving or erasure. In generally very good condition commensurate with age.
