A GEORGE III SILVER CREAM JUG AND SUGAR BOWL
maker BS, the sugar bowl, London 1798; the cream jug, London 1797; each with gadrooned rim and gilded interior, the sugar bowl with leaf-capped scroll handles, engraved with arms and crest. (2) Sugar bowl 19cm long, 17.4 troy ounces gross
The arms and crest are for Henry Marchant, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
The hallmarks are a little rubbed but legible. The gilding is good. The engraved crests and arms are clear and crisp. In generally good condition.
