A Stevenson's Compound Binocular Microscope, John Browning & C. Collins London, ca. 1865,
The tube with twin eyepieces, rack-and-pinion coarse and fine screw focus adjustment above a single objective fitted with a Lieberkuhn reflector, sub stage condenser and plano-concave mirror.

Tube signed John Browning London 422, the base is signed C. Collins Optician, 77 Gt. Titchfield Str.t London.

Together with a lacquered brass Filar Micrometer Ocular signed John Browning, in a mahogany fitted box.
