Description
The scrolling pediment with molded cornice centering a carved shell finial, above a pair of paneled doors opening to removable shelves, flanked by narrow panels, with three thumbmolded short drawers below, all raised on ogee bracket feet. Height 7 feet 4 inches, width 65 inches, depth 17 1/4 inches.
Provenance: The Willing family of Germantown, Pennsylvania, according the catalogue entry when the piece was offered at Christie's.
