Plaque with paste King Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria and his second wife Friederike Caroline Wilhelmine North Bohemia, New World, ca. 1830 Colourless glass with framed paste. Hexagonal shape with beveled edges on both sides. Profile portrait to the left of King Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria and his second wife Friederike Caroline Wilhelmine. 6 x 5.5 cm incrustation portraits of the Bavarian King Max I Joseph were also produced in the North Bohemian Neuwelt ironworks from at least 1826 (i.e. posthumously) to 1830.
