Federal Tall Clock by Timothy Chandler (Concord, New Hampshire, ca. 1800) Inlaid cherry and mahogany tall case clock by Timothy Chandler (1762-1848), Concord, New Hampshire, ca. 1800. Featuring an imported painted dial with moon-phase mechanism and calendar window from the Wilson Manufactory in Birmingham, England. Signed "T. Chandler, Concord" on the face. Stamped "Wilson Birmingham" on reverse of moon disk and "Wilson" on iron false plate. Not guaranteed to be in working order. 92 x 20 x 10 in. (233.7 x 50.8 x 25.4 cm.)
Condition
Some loss to inlay at bottom of case. Vertical age cracks at bottom of the case on both sides. Condition reports are available upon request.
