A collection of Egyptian painted pottery jar fragments. They are decorated in red, black, white and pale blue slip, with bands of triangles, parallel bands, rosettes and spirals.
Size: 30-260mm x 15-105mm; Weight: 3.5kg
Provenance: Private London collection, acquired from Chiswick Auctions in 2016; formerly in Horatio and Patsy Melas collection, Alexandria, Egypt, acquired before 1967, thence by descent moved to Switzerland and London.
