Description
The Slovakian Order of Pribina was instituted in May 1940 and awarded to both Slovaks and foreigners, with one foreign recipient being the Third Reich Foreign Minister, Joachim Von Ribbentrop. The Order was abolished at the end of World War II with the establishment of Communist Yugoslavia. The breast star is riveted construction and measures approximately 3-1/2". The pin on the reverse bears a silver content mark of “987” and a maker mark of “K”. Each of the tips of the rays have been slightly angled inward. Silvered finish exhibits a pleasing patina with evidence of an old price tag on reverse. Functioning pin. CONDITION: Good.
