Considered the most desirable poster for this Spielberg film, the poster was produced as a reboot effort to continue the marketing of the huge money maker. It was printed but got almost no distribution and thus remains scarce.

This rolled poster has only very minor wear from handling.

Steven Spielberg's E.T. was inspired by an imaginary friend he created after his parents divorced. The movie brought together cinema-goers worldwide through their love for Spielberg and writer Melissa Mathison's empathetic alien creation. The viewers were moved to tears when E.T. had to go home finally.
