This poster has been restored to replace the entire title area below the top of the "Harry Carey" name. The remaining upper art has been color-enhanced.

Harry Carey, the iconic cowboy of the silent screen, stands against a target backdrop and lives up to the film's title as he is impervious to the shots that have been fired at him. The film's title may have also had a personal meaning for Carey. By 1920, the films of Harry Carey and the other major cowboy of the era (William S. Hart) had become "passe." They had stressed realism in their productions. However, with the appearance of Tom Mix at Fox Studios, Westerns took on a "flashier" quality, and Universal Studios president Carl Laemmle wanted this look for his Westerns as well.
