"Hrudayantar is a Marathi word that originates from Hindu culture and means “within the heart.” The primary reason I chose to name this painting was to express the beauty that exists within each of our hearts. One of the manifestations that I will have in the future is this picture. There is a verse in the Bible that says, Seek, and you will find. When you knock on the door, he will let you in. The method in which God can reveal the truth to us in such a wide variety of ways is very remarkable. The reality that we all experience deep within our souls is reflected in this painting. Atma is a heavenly wellspring of love that is present in every person’s heart, and enlightenment and liberation are the outcomes of persistent contemplation on Atma. This painting is a visual portrayal of the Artist's future self-meditating on the Ganga riverbanks while pondering Atma on a full moon daybreak. She can reunite with her Atma, soul, universal energy, and higher self after going through constant spiritual phases, which is symbolised by the moon, which depicts the whole cycle of her many phases. In the background, there is another figure that represents Atma or Soul. This figure has a faint appearing effect that conveys the message that the artist became linked to her higher self, Atma or Soul, via consistent meditation and by falling into a trance that is both wonderful and calm. Atma is immutable and unending in nature. Atma is constantly there, despite the fact that the body is a part of this material world. It does not perish. Although every culture proclaims the same truth, it does so in a variety of ways, even if the ultimate objective is always the same."Mitali Sawant is a contemporary artist hailing from Mumbai, India, who uses her work to delve into themes of spirituality.
