Description
This lot of framed autographs, which is composed of three framed pieces with 6 unique signatures. First, there is a signed photo of Robert Kennedy alongside the mailing envelope with a United State Senate letterhead. Next, there is a signed photo of a U.S. Senator from the 1960's, above a mailing envelope with the same signature. Finally, the large frame includes a variety of signatures. The largest paper in the frame accompanies the signature above it, of former Senator Everett McKinley Dicksen. To the right, there is the coorespondance and signature of Eugene Mc Carthy, former Senator. Next, there is a (very dirty) handwritten note which introduces the signature to its left of Edward W. Brooke - the first African American to be elected to the U.S. Senate. And finally, the autograph of Paul H. Douglas, and the corresponding letter address. The smallest frame measures 16 1/2" x 10 3/4", and the largest measures 21" x 19". The frames have some scratches, and the papers inside are a bit yellowed, and have a few stains.
