Crisply carved with large almond-shaped eyes beneath finely arched eyebrows and full, sensuous lips, her hair with incised locks arranged in an elaborate coiffure encircled by a jeweled diadem, wearing beaded disk earrings and elaborate multiple necklaces which sway in response to her curving waist, a flowering tree rising above

A similar bust of the same subject and region, albeit in lesser condition, was sold for the equivalent of $13,000 (see Christie's, sale 14871, lot 55, sold on December 18, 2016). Another head with similar hairstyle and facial features from the Collection of Lawrence and Shirley Phillips sold for $18,750 (see Christie's sale 12172, lot 263, sold on September 13, 2016).

Superficial nicks with associated losses to her cheeks and chin. Further losses include her proper right breast, part of both earrings and the heads of the flowers above.
