This Vintage 1966 Beastly Rhymes by Jack Hanrahan and Phil Hahn has developed almost a cult following due to the authors. Published by: Wonder Books (1966),First Edition, not stated (only printing that I know of). Book Dimensions: 8" x 5.5". Book is tight and no torn or soiled pages. Pages have yellowed with age. Cover is in very good to excellent condition with minor soiling. From the series Laugh Books and original price was 59 cents. A little history:

At the time this book was published in 1966, the 2 authors were a hot comedy writing team, and about to hit it even bigger. According to Hanrahan's Obit:
"Hanrahan attended a Catholic seminary before working as a cartoonist for American Greetings. In the early 1960s, while writing and drawing for his own greeting card company in New York, he met Phil Hahn, a writer for Hallmark cards.
Hanrahan and Hahn would soon become one of Hollywood's most successful writing duos. In the mid 1960s, Hanrahan, the reckless cutup from Cleveland, and Hahn, the more cautious kid from Kansas, became the talk of Hollywood as big-time producers were knocking at their door. Soon they were writing for "Get Smart." And by November 1967, they were working on a new show soon to air called "Laugh In.""They later went their separate ways, but both earned an Emmy in 1968 as writers for Rowen and Martin's Laugh-In.
Between the 2 writers, their combined body of works include the following programs:
