This beautiful and hard to find Vintage George Borgfeldt & Co Porcelain Platter with Silver Pheasant is in very good condition. It is signed by the artist. This company produced many things, but is known for its porcelain and dolls. The platter does have some utensil marks that have marred the picture (see photo). They are not bad, but are noticeable. Most likely this is circa 1940’s-50’s. The company was in business from 1936-1970’s. NO chips, cracks or flea bites but does have some minor crazing as is common with this type of older porcelain. This is a very durable platter- thick and fairly heavy.
