A charming letter from General George S. Patton Jr. 2pp of a bifolium, measuring 5" x 6.5", N.p., n.d. Signed "George S Patton Jr." and addressed to his daughter Beatrice as "Baby B." Patton thanks her for the linen paper she sent him and tells her of hunting a fox and buying a new horse. With flattened mail folds. Light soiling, with areas of staining or toning around a removed paper clip. Boldly signed.

In full:
"This is some of the linen papers you sent me. Don't you think it is nice to write on. It is a fine present. So were baby sisters stamps. I killed a big fox and have his skin perhaps if you want it I will have a weft made for you of it. I have a new horse named Salo he looks just like Spy except that he is yellow and gray not black like Spy. I miss you. Give my love to R. Ellen and Kass."
