Le lettere sono indirizzate all’autore da Pietro Giordani e Pietro Colletta e furono raccolte e ordinate su base cronologica da Prospero Viani. An uncommon first edition of Leopardi's vast epistolary consisting of 546 letters, complete with the errata sheet present in the second volume. The letters are addressed to the author by Pietro Giordani and Pietro Colletta and were collected and ordered on a chronological basis by Prospero Viani. Also present are the 'Inscrizioni greche triopee' translated from the Greek by Leopardi himself.
