Moshe Dayan served as the Israeli Defense Minister during the Six-Day War (1967) and emerged on the world stage as the face of Israeli resistance. "The Leopard" is an Italian novel, published posthumously in 1958, which became one of the top-selling novels in Italian history. The book chronicles how Sicilian life and society changed during the unification of Italy (known as the Risorgimento).
