Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Jade Pot Spring Vase. Potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle vase, slight ovoid body, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck, with wide flaring mouth rim, supported on short small foot base, slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against blue colour, depicted of flying phoenix through flower bloom and scrolling foliage. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Dynasty Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China?s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
