This vase has a Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle, flaring mouth, a spherical abdomen, and a regular vessel shape. Its patterns on the surface are classic, simple, elegant and pretty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of abundant ripe pomegranate tree with fresh foliage, sturdy branch and flowers bloom. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red color and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds, as well as good luck for one's descendants. The Daoist attribute to it the same power as the peach of immortality.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
