Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo (Dine) ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A lovely and wearable vintage necklace made from heishi shells and turquoise beads strung on cotton threads. The beads graduate from smaller to larger on 2 strands, and the terminal ends are simply knotted- the length is large enough to slip over the wearer's head. Size of strand doubled: 31" L (78.7 cm); beads: 0.5" L x 0.2" W (1.3 cm x 0.5 cm)
