**Originally Listed At $250**

Native American, Northwestern United States, Alaska, Stebbins, Yupik culture, ca. mid-20th century CE. A lidded hand-woven basket, tightly coiled and stitched rye or beach grasses (taperrnat), with dyed fibers that that resemble geese or swans. Inside is a gallery business card and handwritten label indicating this was made by M. Snowball in 1952 in Stebbins Alaska. Size: 7" Diameter x 10" H (17.8 cm x 25.4 cm)
