1777 hand-colored map published by Homann Heirs, Nuremberg, showing the British colonies in North American, published in the midst of the American Revolution, entitled "America Septentrionalis a Domino d'Anville in Galliis edita nunc in Anglia Coloniis in Interiorem Virginiam nec non Ohio cursu."(etc.) The map was published for the German public, supporters of the British in the war, and has copious notes in German on the history of British and French colonies. Many Native American tribes are named on the map, as well as British forts. Walker's Settlement is noted. On laid paper. Creases. Minor stains, toning. No tears, holes or repairs.
