Continental brass mounted rosewood veneer lap desk or slope desk resting on an associated stand, late 19th or early 20th century, having brass string inlay, the top centering a plaque with an etched monogram reading E.N.S; opening to a writing surface and a fitted interior, having a hidden or flush set drawer on the left side, apparently unmarked; resting on a rectangular stand with square legs with brackets.

Condition
