Traveling campaign desk in fine figured burlwood and rosewood veneers over mahogany; with brass mounts and gilt-embossed leather writing surface. Lock stamped "Brahmah / London". On custom contemporary Chinese Chippendale-style stand. Dimensions: (Together) H 22" x W 20.5" x D 11.25"; Box alone measures H 7.25" x W 20" x D 10.5" Condition: Prior restoration/conservation likely. Some separation of brass trim from box; may be missing lids for interior divided compartments. Some minor joint separation to interior. Antique patina and wear throughout.
