Japy Freres & Cie (French, founded 1806-c. 1930), gilt metal mantel clock, 19th century, having a figure of a Roman general on a rearing horse, on a foliate base in the Baroque taste, the dial having Roman numerals, the movement stamped '3496' and 'Gvf Rey Jne Brevete' with Japy Freres medallion, on black wooden base.
