The plates were printed c.1974, but after the death of Fawcus remained in sheet form for over a decade. The William Blake Trust finally sent the sheets to Smith Settle, who assembled a total of 392 copies (although only 387 are in the limitation statement): this is number 64 of 250 copies from the limitation - there were also 115 roman numeral copies, some of which were reserved for the William Blake Trust, but there was no difference in the content or presentation, though there were 22 lettered copies specially bound with additional material. Some ownership chops, previous owner's return address labels on front pastedowns.
