Description
Central India. Gracefully carved standing in elegant tribhanga, wearing a long dhoti secured with a beaded and festooned belt, the torso adorned by a torque with strings of beads.
Provenance: A private collection in Vienna, Austria, acquired circ 1996 in the local trade.
Condition: Good condition, commensurate with age. Extensive wear, signs of weathering and erosion, nicks, scratches, losses, and small chips.
