Description
Francis William Topham (1808-1877) limited edition, steel engraving titled The Wayfarers. It was also engraved by Topham, after his painting. Topham originally produced this engraving in 1846, and it was published in The Gems of European Art. This framed piece was produced in 1880 by D. Appleton and Company on thick, heavy stock. It is double matted in a floating mat, and framed under glass. It measures 11 inches x 14 inches. This piece was acquired from a Virginia estate. , 11 inches x 14 inches, LOT REF #23-320
